Old Business:
Fall fly-in date set for Oct 27th, the 28th will be the rain date.
We can use a couple more pilots to fly Young Eagles.
EAA has a new website with a sign up feature to help.
We have a printer we can use it to print the certificates.
Planning to have hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken bog for lunch.
Doug has tables, chairs, a grill available. Carl has a couple of sun shades. Anyone else with sun shades (pop-ups) are encouraged to bring them… just in case.
We voted to provide fuel for the YE pilots.
B-17 visit Nov 8 – 11
Anyone interested in a B-17 ride should go on line to buy tickets ahead of time.
Aircraft tours should be available the day of the event, ~$10 tour admission.
We could use a few more volunteers for marshaling people and support the airplane ops.

Larry brought in ribs from a WWII L2. The aircraft is being restored in Canada over the next year or so
Discussed ADS-B and the return of the $500 incentive.
Discussed information sources for Cliff’s intake system fitment challenge.
Discussed avionics interference experienced by self-driving cars as a parallel to the aviation issues with interference from wireless devices.
And discussed local flying clubs.
